Afia
(Angelique Kidjo / Vinicius Cantuaria)
Some of the slaves originally from Benin returned to their home country once they were freed, so Benin has a strong Brazilian influence in the food, language and even music.
This original song is Angeliques tribute to Brazil, co-written with the guitarist Vinicius Cantuaria.
