Amandzeba, which means "son of tradition" or "tradition child" got his name, Nat Brew, because his father, Ato Brew, nicknamed him Nat King Cole.

He is one of the biggest artistes in Ghana and his music style is influenced by the Ga sounds of kpanlogo, the West African Francophone styles, Nigerian juju music, highlife and reggae. He sings in Fante, Twi, Ga, Hausa and many other languages.

He first started out as a member of the popular group, Nakorex, which also featured Ghanaian music greats like Akosua Adjepong of "Hye me kawa nako" fame and Rex Omar of "Abiba" fame. He subsequently married Akosua.

He sings about love like many Ghanaian artistes but most of his songs are deep and rich with lyrics about society, politics, nationalism and patriotism, history, etc. Wogbe Dzeke was probably his biggest hit which traced the history of some West African peoples from Israel to present-day West Africa.

Some of his songs include Kpanlogo ye de, Kpanlogo alogoligi, Dzoo, Pioto, Baawo, Tsema, Mereko, Efia, Buduruwa, Alele, Mintease, Dede, Onyame, Dances, Keteke, Asaw, Zion, The Devil, Dzo, etc.

Amandzeba chop some!

Seriously I really like this guy's music. From Kpanlogo to Wogbe to Pioto, he makes great music for society with danceable lyrics and great lyrics.
He's just been elected Second National Vice President of the Musicians Association in Ghana (MUSIGA) so join me in congratulating him. I think he can really become a big international star so I hope he can help himself and other Ghanaians gain better international prominence.

Amandzeba Chop Waa Waa!

He has been great..he keeps reinventing himself and that puts him in a league of Great Ghanaian musicians. Michelle Attoh once said he is her Uncle..that makes him da younger Bro of Rama Brew and one Bibi?? Brew also a musician abroad.

So talent run through their blood..wont be surprised if they r related to da Great Kwesi Brew.:-)

Amandzeba's family

Wasn't Rama Brew a judge on one of these talent shows? Either Stars of the Future or TV3 Mentor? I heard she was really hard on the contestants.
Entertainment really does run in their family.

Amandzeba is simply one of the best ever and he always has great music videos. Can't find any online though
