Neez baby - the man behind the music

nana kwabena baffoe bonnie tuffour neez buck babyThe sound of music is unique in that it resonates freely within the individual long after its waves are captured within the eardrum. As many musicians throughout history have learned to master the art of noise, Nana Kwabena has been dedicated to creating his own sound that distinguishes himself from others while simultaneously making a significant contribution to the larger body of music.

In his high school years, Nana Kwabena began to teach himself the art of creative writing and channeled his talent into becoming a lyricist and performer. At the same time, he was also exposed to the art of turntabilism and became a dj.

As he entered college, Nana Kwabena began to realize more of a need for a musical foundation in which he could continue to foster his talent as a writer and performer. At this point, he developed a strong interest in musical production and focused his energies on assembling a massive catalogue.

Along with some entrepreneurial music business partners, he formed his company, Most Wanted Music Group which is a host to several dj’s, producers, singers, lyricists, songwriters and performers. Through his collaborations with Ghanaian artists (such as Tinny, Batman Samini and Jane & Irene) and his work with upcoming artists in the Philadelphia and New York urban music spheres, Nana Kwabena has aspired to project his creative sound towards the forefront.

Influenced by the likes of his mother, Sade, Donnie Hathaway, Lesane Parrish Crooks, Bob Marley and Fela Kuti, Nana Kwabena possesses the ambition, passion and talent to craft his sound into one that will reverberate beyond borders for time to come.
